During their heyday, these theaters showed double- and triple-bills from
early morning until late at night, and in many cases on a 24-hour rotation basis.
These bills often changed two or three times a week, so one theater could
easily show between 8 and 12 different films per week. The
grindhouses' insatiable need for new product benefited the curious and eclectic
moviegoer, for he was able to choose from many more films in the Times Square
area than conceivably anywhere else in the world, and as mentioned earlier,
these films came from many different sources, from the established big-budget
Hollywood product to the lower-budget exploitation film, and including obscure
foreign film product that was often shown nowhere else but in Times Square, in
often extremely brief theatrical runs.

These People Were Filth Like You've Never Seen Before!
epub or mobi
This book absolutely oozes with sleaze, sex, and is the embodiment of
sexploitation. As much as I sometimes regret being born to late to never
experience the Deuce as it once was, this book made me feel safe
because I hadn't. Some of this stuff is so sick, you might need shots
after reading it, and I have no doubt Milligan's movies will make me
feel much of the same way. - Jenn
"Some books got a big dick, but no ass to drive it. This one's got a whole pantload! Wads o' stuff! It's so sticky you can't put it down! The question now is ... what will the nice people be doing while you're reading The Ghastly One?" - Lux Interior
